Aisling Bea

Aisling was born March 16, 1984, in Kildare Ireland. She is one of Ireland's most successful and well-known comedians. The comedian has appeared on QI with Stephen Fry. Aisling Cliodhnadh (born 16th March 1984) is a stand-up comedian and actress from Ireland. Bea's career began in the year 2011 when she began her career as a comic after she appeared in small roles on Irish and British television shows beginning in the year 2009. From 2012 on she was in sitcoms and sketch comedy. In 2012, following her received an award from the Edinburgh Comedy Awards (ECA) and began to be featured frequently in panel programs. In 2016 and 2017, she served as a team leader for 8 Out of 10 Cats. Also, she is participant on 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. She is the daughter of Brian and Helen O'Sullivan. Sinead, her older sister was born. She is only the second ever female to be a winner of the show So You Think You're Funny. Her surname honors the memory of her late father. Aisling Claiodhnadh Sullivan was born on the 16th of March, 1984 in Kildare, County Kildare. Bea's father Brian died when he was just three years old. He was an equine veterinarian. Bea wasn't told the details of how he passed before she reached the age of 13. As a way to honor the man she loved, Bea chose the stage-name Bea and in 2017 published an article on suicides in the family she was raised by for The Guardian. Bea (and her sister Sinead) were raised within the home of Helen Moloney, who was a school educator and jockey trainer who was also a professional jockey. The family was awed by racing, horses as well as the race industry. Bea was a guide for the Irish National Stud in her young years. She knew, however it wasn't something she wanted to pursue in a career and she preferred doing.
